SSO lands: IP intelligence for the whole company

The self-hosted connector keeps gaining traction. Mid-size firms are its backbone, larger firms have come on board with more evaluating, and it now reaches into global enterprises. On the free hosted side, thousands already run their patent work through it.

At that scale, single sign-on is not optional. So what I have been running with selected customers is now available to every self-hoster: log in with Microsoft Entra, or any OIDC provider, and manage access the way your organization already does.

This fits a goal I care about. I want to bring the beauty and the value of IP intelligence to people who are not IP specialists, and to show the specialists that, with the right IT, that can actually happen. SSO is a small and unglamorous piece of it, and a necessary one: intelligence helps most when the whole organization can reach it, safely. That reach matters more now that The Lens is on board: patents linked to the science behind them speak to R&D, product and strategy teams, not just the legal department.

Self-hosters get it in the v1.14.1 release. It goes hand in hand with the internal IPMS connectors now in development.
